Weekly Update

Happy Juneteenth!

A day to reflect on freedom, history, and justice.

Get involved!

LWVUS stock photo - protestThousands took to the streets of Denver this past weekend to exercise their right to peacefully protest. The community we saw was inspiring, but it's important to remember that protesting isn't just about marching. There are other ways to get involved. Call or email your representatives. Talk with friends and family that also want to take action - so many good ideas can come from a simple conversation. Donate to causes that you align with. Post on social media and don't shy away from uncomfortable conversations. Whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours, standing up for what you believe in can take many forms.
