Come for drinks, lite bites, networking, and a chance to hear what enabled Sarah McCarthy, Co-Director of Program/Advocacy LWVDenver, to run for County Clerk in 2019. Running for office is an achievement of its own and she will share her story about how she came to that courageous decision.
At 6:30 p.m., we will walk to the City and County Building to see the building in purple lights -- the primary, iconic color symbolizing justice, dignity, and loyalty to the cause of women's equality. Irene Tynes, President of LWVCO, Sheila Davis, President of Zonta Club of Denver, and Pearlanne Zelarney, Director of Communications for LWVDenver will speak briefly about women’s quest for equality.
